Biography

     Mr. Romero-Perez is a licensed attorney with over 25 years of experience in estate planning & administration, immigration & naturalization, tax deferred exchanges, and financial services.

     He has addressed various professional groups including the Chicago, Kane County and Du Page County Bar Associations as well as the Illinois CPA Society. He has shared his expertise on many panels and newscasts.

     At the same time, he has presented before various community groups such as The Resurrection Project, the Open Door Clinic, neighborhood churches, and the local consulate offices of Guatemala, Mexico, and Ecuador.  He has been a contributor to the local Hispanic nightly news broadcast on issues related to Estate Planning and Immigration.

 

Mr. Romero-Perez has volunteered at the "Wills for Heroes" estate planning program sponsored by the Chicago Bar Association and the DACA review program sponsored by The Resurrection Project.

    He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois, and the Lesbian and Gay Bar Association of Chicago. 

     Mr. Romero-Perez holds a BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison while his law & business (JD/MBA) degrees are from DePaul University in Chicago. He is fully bilingual (English/Spanish).
